Greetings from your 2020-2021 President

Hello Everyone!

My name is Amanda Renzelmann. I am a senior nursing student at Concordia University of Wisconsin. I am so excited to be your WSNA 2020-2021 President. This is my first year on the state board and I am so excited for all the learning opportunities to come. I have previously been the mentor/mentee coordinator, fundraising coordinator, and now secretary of Concordia’s SNA chapter. 

Although this school year will be a very unique experience for all of us nursing students, I am so excited for what is to come. We are all in this together and the WSNA Board of Directors has been working very hard to plan various events for you this year. Your safety is our number one priority so all events will be following the CDC’s guidelines. As we have learned over the past few months, things are always changing throughout this pandemic. We will continue to plan in person events if possible and will update you accordingly. 

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the state board, as well as the school chapters. WSNA is planning to hold College of Chapter Boards in Fall of 2020, which we strongly encourage school chapters to attend. It will allow various schools to connect and share ideas of what they are doing throughout the pandemic.  I hope to see you all there and cannot wait to meet you throughout the year!
